Regulatory Background and Methodology
The European standard EN 301 549 defines accessibility requirements for digital products and services, including websites and e-commerce.
This standard is largely based on WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) developed by the W3C, which is internationally recognized as the gold standard. The audit was conducted by a third party, and the 4 fundamental principles of accessibility were considered:
- Perceivable
- Operable
- Understandable
- Robust
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882, as not all sections fully comply with WCAG 2.1 level AA.
Non-accessible content
Currently, some sections of the site have critical accessibility issues:
- Graphic elements lacking descriptive alternative text
- Suboptimal color contrasts in some areas
- Unclear semantic structure with absence of H1,H2,H3,H4,H5.
- Presence of duplicate IDs
- Menus and filters not fully accessible by keyboard and missing focus indicator
- Form labels not always visible or correctly associated with inputs
- Interactive elements (buttons, inputs) do not always have an accessible name that communicates their purpose.
